Yuri Broze - pianist, instrumentalist, vocalist, arranger, molecular biologist and music theorist - in her post, “Voice Parts and Ranges” (2009), states the different types of vocal parts and types that teaches us the difference between each other. She supports this idea by giving us a definition of each part and telling us the different vocal ranges. Her purpose is to tell students the difference of each part in order for us to understand the usage of them through music. She establishes a relationship between her and music students because her selection of words is very related to the topic.

Janak Ramachandran states the proper posture for singing. They talk about how proper posture is important in singing and how it affects with your voice. The point of this article is to teach how to to properly stand while we sing because it affects the voice and the body as we perform.
This post was a useful source because it explains on how it is important and how it affects the voice. This source differs from other sources because it goes into depth as it explains the importance of posture.
This was helpful for my research because it helped me explain how posture affects singing. It helps shape my argument because it gives me examples to the explanations. This source changed the way I think about my topic because without proper posture, you will not be able to sing correctly.
